Community Service
A disaster can bring great disruption and heartbreak to a community and its people. Having assisted cities and counties during several hurricane seasons, we at BDR have been deeply touched by the destruction we have seen. Through extensive involvement in community service, our company is committed to helping disaster victims rebuild what they have lost.
Reinvigorating Economic Health
In areas hard-hit by disasters, unemployment is often a major problem faced by local residents. Our philosophy and goal is to help communities restore their economic health by putting as many displaced workers back to work following an event. Typically, the debris monitoring projects we oversee are 95% staffed by people from the local community.
Supporting Charitable Organizations
Our company and staff supports a number of organizations as the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, United Way and other non-profit organizations dedicated to helping victims of disasters and those less fortunate. This support includes financial contributions, volunteering and participating in fundraising events. Additionally, BDR is a staunch supporter of trade and civic organizations including the national and state chapters of the Emergency Management Association, National Hurricane Association, American Public Works Association, Florida Association of Court Clerks and Comptrollers, Cities and Counties Association, National League of Cities, Chambers of Commerce, Councils of Government, and the Economic Development Commissions.
