Jonathan Schaefer

 

Mr. Schaefer is an industrial engineer and serves as BDR’s Director of Operations. In addition to ensuring the safety and protection of our employees, he specializes in developing the management tools, processes and procedures as well as equipment required for the prosecution of all work performed by BDR. Mr. Schaefer has created systems essential to our ability to track, capture and communicate data as well as equip the mobile command center and the firm’s response fleet. This includes state-of-the-art communication systems, satellite, radios, computer, GIS and mapping software.

Mr. Schaefer has been instrumental in developing the protocols for pre-and post-disaster event planning. These guidelines provide the structure and plans, which are critical for disaster preparedness and recovery. The guidelines address Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) policies and procedures to ensure the public is kept safe and informed and the community receives the maximum reimbursement from all state and federal emergency organizations.
