Ms. Mann is a recognized leader with more than 17 years of hands-on experience in emergency management mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery, which includes top positions at the state and local level. Ms. Mann has been trained in and is certified as an EMAP assessor and recently passed the Certified Emergency Manager exam. As a certified assessor, she brings a wealth of knowledge about how to identify and remedy potential weaknesses to help jurisdictions earn their accreditation.
She served on the Indiana State Emergency Management Planning Committee, taking part in developing and implementing an aggressive comprehensive emergency management plan for the state and its 92 counties. Ms. Mann is well versed in the requirements of the National Response Plan and the National Incident Management System.
Ms. Mann has also developed, conducted, evaluated and developed after-action reports for multiple exercises and offers extensive experience in the Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program. |
