BDR is a Emergency Management Planning and Engineering Firm dedicated to helping clients plan for and recover from natural and manmade disasters. When every second counts, BDR is able to quickly mobilize the staff, equipment and support systems needed to get roads cleared, staging sites identified, permitted and secured and crews on the ground. In 2005 alone, BDR deployed close to 2000 professional and support personnel including project managers, operations managers, monitors, field supervisors, FEMA specialists, GIS analysts, schedulers, engineers and environmentalists to respond to disasters for over forty client events.

Disaster Recovery Experts
Disaster can strike anywhere at any time with little or no warning. In the after-math of a natural disaster, government organizations face the overwhelming task of coordinating, implementing and managing a disaster recovery effort while trying to provide normal day-to-day services and respond to customer concerns. In our planning efforts, we provide multi-jurisdictional coordination as well as debris contractor procurement so the agreements are in place and crews can be mobilized within hours of an event. Our post-event response services routinely include program management, collection and disposal monitoring, GIS and mapping services and call center operations. BDR is experienced in the operational processes and procedures required to help clients receive maximum reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and/or state emergency management agencies. We provide compliance monitoring and audit oversight and appeals support when disputes occur.
